Easily capture Web content by adding Nextaris Bookmarklets to your Favorites/Links Bar
Nextaris provides three bookmarklet buttons to help you easily capture and save Web content:

NextarisPages: capture and save entire Web pages to your Nextaris Folders
NextarisClippings: capture and save portions of Web pages to your Nextaris Blogs or Folders
NextarisImages: capture and save pictures / graphics from Web pages to your Nextaris Folders

Install the bookmarklet buttons -- Quick Start
Left click on, hold the left button down, and drag each of these links (one at a time)

NextarisPages     NextarisClippings     NextarisImages

to your browser's toolbar (the Links toolbar on Internet Explorer or the Bookmarks toolbar on other browsers). These three buttons should now appear on your toolbar. If these buttons do not appear or if you can't find the toolbar, read the Instructions below for your browser.
IE Users Please Note: On some versions of Internet Explorer (IE) on Windows, the above "drag the link" approach does not work (due to IE javascript security restrictions), If you are using Windows/IE and dragging the link does not work, follow the alternative steps below for Internet Explorer Users.

Install only once and enjoy the buttons on all your browsers windows thereafter
After the Nextaris buttons successfully appear on your browser's Favorites/Links bar, you do not have to repeat the steps above. Each time you launch your browser or create a new browser window these buttons will automatically appear on the toolbar. If you are not logged into Nextaris when you click on one of these buttons, you will be prompted to first log in.

Using your Nextaris bookmarklet buttons
NextarisPages/NextarisImages: To use these bookmarklets, you need to first have/create a Folder before you can save a Web page. If you don't have a Folder, when you click on your NextarisPages button use the "Select a Folder" pull-down menu to "Create New Folder".

NextarisClippings: To use NextarisClippings, you either need to have a Folder to save to or you need to first create a Blog (Add Blog under Folders Tab) before you can add a Clipping. Then to add a Clipping:
1. Find a Web page with content you want to save.
2. Using your mouse, drag across and select that portion of the page's text that you want.
3. With the text still selected (high-lighted), click on the NextarisClippings bookmarklet button and a small window will open.
4. In that small window, select the Blog or Folder you want to save the Clipping to and make comments (optional) on the text you have clipped. Bibliographic/source information is automatically recorded in your Blog for you.
5. You can save multiple Clippings to the same Blog, and you can create multiple Blogs.

Updating your Nextaris bookmarklet buttons:
Nextaris bookmarklets are stored as part of the browser on your computer. We may need at some time to update these bookmarklets. For security reasons we can not change your browser directly and thus we cannot automatically update the bookmarklets. But we can determine if you are using an older version of the bookmarklets. If an update is necessary, the next time you click on a Nextaris a bookmarklet you will be asked to first make the update. To do so, simply:
1. Remove/Delete any Nextaris bookmarklets on your Favorites / Links bar (right click on each).
2. Clear your browser's cache.
3. Re-install / drag the links at the top of this page to your Favorites / Links bar or follow the instructions below.
